A year and a half has passed since Mark's accident, which has provided a better idea of the expenses that are not covered by insurance. For example, his electric wheelchair requires new batteries periodically and the monthly expense of a home health care nurse. While there are state sponsored programs to provide certain specialized equipment, the waiting time is lengthy. Mark has a need to have a voice activated phone system, lighting system, TV contollers and door operating systems; however, the funding for these items is very slow to come, while the need is immediate.
I provide this information so you will see the great need for ongoing funding to Mark and his family and the reason for another Run, Walk and Roll event.
While this describes the need for Mark, there are others like him that our Foundation would like to help.
Please help us with Mark and these needs by signing up as a runner or sponsoring this important event.

The proceeds from this event will benefit Mark Evans and his family. The run will be on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at River Legacy Park in Arlington, Texas.
$20 per person by 01/13/2009 (registration by the January 13, 2009 guarantees a T-shirt)
